Skoda Auto India has launched the MY26 update for the Skoda Kodiaq with one major addition buyers had been waiting for since the second-generation model arrived in India, Level 2 ADAS. The 2026 Kodiaq also gets an updated variant lineup, revised prices, and a better Sportline variant. It now sits much closer to the top-spec Selection L&K in terms of features and equipment. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, said the brand wanted the Kodiaq lineup to cover different buyer needs, including accessibility, sportiness, and premium luxury.
MY26 Skoda Kodiaq prices and how the lineup has shifted

The MY26 update for the Skoda Kodiaq also brings revised pricing across all three variants. The biggest change is for the Lounge variant, which is now Rs 3 lakh cheaper at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the Kodiaq more accessible and competitive in its segment.
The Sportline variant now costs Rs 44.99 lakh after a Rs 1 lakh increase, while the Selection L&K is priced at Rs 46.99 lakh with a smaller Rs 50,000 hike.
| Variant | Old Price | New Price | Change |

| Lounge 5-Seater | Rs 39.99 lakh | Rs 36.99 lakh | Rs 3 lakh cheaper |
| Sportline 7-Seater | Rs 43.99 lakh | Rs 44.99 lakh | Rs 1 lakh dearer |
| Selection L&K 7-Seater | Rs 46.49 lakh | Rs 46.99 lakh | Rs 50,000 dearer |

2026 Skoda Kodiaq Level 2 ADAS suit

The biggest update on the MY26 Skoda Kodiaq is the addition of Level 2 ADAS. It is available on the Sportline and Selection L&K variants, while the Lounge variant misses out on these features.
The Sportline and Selection L&K now get Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Front Assist with automatic emergency braking, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Traffic Alert, and Exit Warning. Both variants also come with Adaptive LED Matrix headlamps, which adjust the light beam based on traffic and road conditions for better night visibility.
The Sportline also gains new features like a 360-degree camera, Intelligent Park Assist, and an LED grille strip. These features were earlier limited to higher trims. The Lounge variant remains the more basic option and does not get the ADAS package.

Safety features on all variants include 9 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, hill start assist, hill descent control, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers, among others.

What is the MY26 Skoda Kodiaq interior
Inside, the Kodiaq Sportline continues with its all-black cabin and sportier design theme. In comparison, the Selection L&K gets a black and cognac leather interior with more luxury-focused features. These include Ergo Seats with pneumatic lumbar massage, ventilation, heating, power adjustment, and Laurin & Klement branding on the steering wheel. For buyers who prefer a sportier look but still want a practical 7-seat SUV with premium features, the updated Sportline now makes a much stronger case.

New Skoda Kodiaq engine specs

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq continues with the same 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 201bhp and 320Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and AWD as standard on all variants.
There is no manual, diesel, or hybrid option. Skoda offers the Kodiaq with a single engine and drivetrain setup in India. The engine is smooth for daily driving, while the AWD system adds better grip and all-weather capability. The SUV is assembled in India at Skoda’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility through the CKD route.
