- 2Gurkha 3-Door is now priced at Rs 16.31 lakh (ex-showroom)
- 3Gurkha 5-Door now costs Rs 17.63 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Force Gurkha has always been the choice for buyers who want a serious off-road machine without paying Mahindra Thar prices. That value proposition has just shifted slightly. Force Motors revised the Gurkha's prices in May 2026, making both the 3-Door and 5-Door variants more expensive by up to Rs 35,646. No features were added, no specifications changed; this is a straight price revision, and buyers considering the Gurkha need to factor it in before making a decision.
New Force Gurkha prices and how much they have gone up

The Force Gurkha is available in two body styles: a 3-door 4-seater and a 5-door 7-seater. The 3-door version is now priced at Rs 16.31 lakh (ex-showroom), up by Rs 35,552. The 5-door version now costs Rs 17.63 lakh (ex-showroom), after a price increase of Rs 35,646.
Here is a clear look at the updated prices:
| Variant | Old Price | New Price | Hike |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gurkha 3-Door | Rs 15,95,358 | Rs 16,30,910 | Rs 35,552 |
| Gurkha 5-Door | Rs 17,26,948 | Rs 17,62,594 | Rs 35,646 |
The price difference between the 3-Door and 5-Door remains at Rs 1,31,684, which is the same gap as before the revision. Buyers who were evaluating which body style to go for will find that the relative value between the two options has not changed; only the absolute numbers have moved up.

What separates the 3-Door and 5-Door Gurkha

The choice between the two versions of the Force Gurkha mainly depends on space and usage. The 3-door Gurkha is smaller, with a 2400 mm wheelbase and 3965 mm length. It seats four people and is easier to handle on narrow roads and off-road trails. It also gets a tighter 5.5-metre turning radius.
The 5-door version is larger, measuring 4390 mm in length with a 2825 mm wheelbase. It offers seating for seven people and is more practical for family use. Its turning radius is 6.3 metres. Both versions use the same engine, suspension, ground clearance, and 4WD system, so off-road capability remains the same.
Force Gurkha engine
The Force Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 140PS and 320Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV gets a 4WD system with shift-on-the-fly technology, allowing drivers to switch between 2H, 4H, and 4L modes without stopping. Both variants are built on a ladder-frame chassis designed for durability and off-road use.
The Gurkha offers 233 mm ground clearance, 700 mm water-wading capacity, 35-degree gradeability, 37-degree departure angle, and a 28-degree ramp-over angle, making it one of the most capable off-road SUVs in this segment.
