- 2Front end to get a reworked grille with new lighting elements
- 3Cabin is expected to get a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster
Skoda India has scheduled the launch of the upcoming Slavia facelift on August 18, 2026. Through a series of teasers, the carmaker has been dropping off details of the updated sedan. The latest one gives a clearer look at several exterior changes, even though Skoda has kept some elements deliberately hidden until launch day. This will be the Slavia's first major update since it went on sale in India back in 2022.
Upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift exterior design

The biggest change shown in new Skoda Slavia facelift teaser is the redesigned tail lamp. It keeps the current car's angular shape but gets a new LED pattern. The teaser also shows the rear quarter glass. The window shape looks unchanged but a thicker chrome strip appears to run along the window line. The roof and shark-fin antenna are also briefly visible.
Skoda has also revealed the new alloy wheels. Earlier spy shots showed a five-spoke design, but the teaser suggests a dual-tone, multi-spoke pattern instead. The wheel size is expected to remain 16 inches. The Skoda winged-arrow badge also continues on the facelift.

At the front, only the lower section of the grille has been shown so far. It gets a piano-black finish. Earlier spy shots suggest a new grille with lighting elements inspired by the updated Kushaq, along with revised headlamps, bumpers and fog lamp housings.
Skoda Slavia facelift cabin and features
Inside, Skoda Slavia dashboard layout is expected to stay largely the same. However, the automaker is likely to introduce new upholstery and trim finishes. One confirmed upgrade is a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, up from the current unit.

It remains to be seen if some features from the Kushaq facelift will trickle down to the Slavia as well. This includes rear-seat massage functionality, which would be a segment-first addition if it does make it to the Slavia. Several existing Slavia features are expected to carry over unchanged, including 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charger, 8-speaker sound system, automatic climate control with rear vents, six airbags as standard, and tyre pressure monitoring system, maong others.
Skoda Slavia facelift engine and transmission options
Mechanically, Skoda isn't expected to make major changes. The Slavia facelift should continue with its existing 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines, without any changes to their power output. The 1.0-litre engine currently makes 115bhp and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre engine produces 150bhp and 250Nm.
The bigger change lies in the gearbox. The 1.0-litre engine, currently offered with a 6-speed automatic, is expected to switch to a new 8-speed torque converter unit instead. This is the same gearbox Skoda recently introduced with the Kushaq facelift. The manual gearbox option on the 1.0-litre engine should continue as a 6-speed unit. The 1.5-litre engine is expected to stick with its existing 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, with no manual option.
