2027 Renault Kwid Facelift spied fully undisguised — Top highlights to know!

Currently, the international market is preparing for the upcoming Renault Kwid facelift launch. Ahead of this, spy shots of the facelift have surfaced online from Brazil, undisguised, with a greyish exterior and updated design. Interior shots have also been captured, showing a new digital cluster and a larger infotainment system. A couple of other details can also be spotted.
2027 Renault Kwid exterior
In the spied images, the Kwid facelift's grille has been updated to a smaller, more minimalist bar-like design, with a chevron pattern and the Renault logo positioned at its centre. The headlamp design looks very similar to the outgoing Kwid. The fog lamp has been revised to look more angular and elongated. Below the lamp, there's an inverted vertical section for air-intake treatment. The lower bumper has also been revised, and the lower grille seems to extend further upward.
At the rear, the Kwid facelift gets a rounded rectangular tail-lamp housing, with red, white, and orange lighting placed side by side. The photos also show the updated rear reflector, a revised silver skid plate, a rear wiper, and a shark-fin antenna.

2027 Renault Kwid facelift cabin
It gets a new digital driver display and a larger infotainment system, likely around 10.24 inches. Another detail worth noting is the illusion of a connected display frame between the cluster and the touchscreen. Since this Kwid model is for the international market, the steering wheel setup is on the left-hand side. It has the familiar three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel with steering-mounted controls. The front AC vent placement has also been changed from above the infotainment screen to below it.
Upcoming Renault Kwid facelift powertrain
The upcoming Renault Kwid is expected to come with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired exclusively with a manual gearbox. The Brazil-spec churns out 71bhp and 98.1Nm of torque. The India-spec, by comparison, churns out 70bhp and 92.5Nm.

Renault Kwid facelift's global debut is expected to happen this year, likely around September 2026. As for the India launch, it is anticipated to happen in 2027. Upon its Indian launch, it will continue to rival models like Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
