Maruti Suzuki has taken the wraps off its latest SUV — the Victoris — which is essentially Arena’s version of the Grand Vitara. What’s interesting is that the Victoris one-ups the Grand Vitara in terms of features. Here are five features that the Maruti Suzuki Victoris gets over the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Level-2 ADAS

The Victoris happens to be the first Maruti car in India to be offered with a Level-2 ADAS suite that includes functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, high-beam assist, and more.

10.25-inch digital driver’s display

The Victoris comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster while the Grand Vitara comes with a smaller 7-inch unit. Moreover, it gets selectable layouts that you can choose from.

8-speaker Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos

At the presentation for the Victoris, Maruti executives stressed on the SUV being a ‘theatre on wheels’, primarily because of it coming with an 8-speaker Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos, which is not seen on the Grand Vitara.
Underbody CNG kit

The Victoris happens to be the first Maruti car in India to come with an underbody-mounted CNG kit, which frees up space in the boot for luggage. This comes after Tata’s dual-cylinder technology that uses two cylinders instead of one to free up boot space.

Powered tailgate with gesture control

Maruti is offering a powered tailgate on the Victoris SUV, which also comes with gesture control, enabling easier access to the boot. The Grand Vitara has to do with a manual tailgate.
