Shortly after teasing a special edition of the Hyundai Exter on its social platforms, Hyundai India has launched the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition. The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is an all-black version of Hyundai’s entry-level SUV, if you can call it that. It is Hyundai India’s third Knight Edition, after launching the Creta Knight Edition and the Venue Knight Edition earlier. This also marks the 1-year anniversary of the Exter and Hyundai has claimed that it has sold 93,000 units of the Hyundai Exter till date.

The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition features a cosmetic update as compared to the regular Hyundai Exter. Mechanically, the Knight Edition is identical to the current Exter. An all-black theme is followed on the exterior as well as the interior of the Hyundai Exter. The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is available with the 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is seen on the regular Hyundai Exter. This unit produces 83PS of power and 113.8Nm of torque. Customers can opt for either a manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox.

Hyundai Exter Knight Edition: Features

The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition, being a typical Hyundai, comes loaded with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, paddle shifters, a fast C-Type USB charger at the front, cooled glovebox, rear wiper and washer, cruise control and many more features. The Exter Knight Edition gets an all-black interior with red stitching and red inserts all over the interior elements of the car.
