Hyundai India’s domestic sales rise 23% in July 2026 — Details inside!

Hyundai Motor India recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2026, with total dispatches crossing 75,000 units for the first time. Strong domestic demand and higher exports helped the company begin Q2 FY27 on a positive note. Hyundai sold 75,360 vehicles across domestic and export markets in July 2026, up 25.45% from 60,073 units in July 2025.
Hyundai sales July 2026 — Domestic sales cross 54,000 units
Hyundai dispatched 54,210 vehicles in the domestic market in July 2026, compared to 43,973 units in July 2025. This was an increase of 23.28% year-on-year and Hyundai’s highest domestic sales for July.

Domestic sales increased by 36.77% compared to June 2026, when Hyundai sold 39,635 units. June sales were affected by a production disruption following a fire at one of Hyundai’s suppliers.
The Hyundai Creta recorded its highest monthly sales of 2026, with 18,088 units sold. The Hyundai i20 also posted its best monthly sales of the year at 6,738 units.
Hyundai export sales cross 21,000 units
Hyundai exported 21,150 vehicles in July 2026, compared to 16,100 units in July 2025. Exports increased by 31.37% year-on-year. The company said this was its highest monthly export volume in more than 100 months. The growth also highlights India’s role as a manufacturing and export base for Hyundai.
Hyundai plans multiple launches in FY27
Hyundai is preparing to launch a new Bayon-based midsize SUV in India later this financial year. It is expected to compete with the Maruti Victoris and other midsize SUVs. The SUV could be offered with petrol, diesel and factory-fitted CNG powertrain options. Hyundai is also developing a new sub-4-metre electric SUV. It is expected to compete with the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Punch EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.
The company also plans to introduce the next-generation Creta during FY27. The new model is expected to receive updates to its design, features and powertrain options. These launches will expand Hyundai’s presence across the midsize SUV and electric vehicle segments.
