Jeep India has launched the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition, a limited-run version of its popular SUV. Priced at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom), only 85 units will be sold in India. The special edition celebrates Jeep's 85th anniversary and joins other Jeep models that have received similar anniversary editions this year.
Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition design changes
On the outside, the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition gets Gloss Black 18-inch alloy wheels, along with special anniversary badging and details. The special edition is available in four exterior shades: Exotica Red, Brilliant Black, Pearl White and Techno Metallic Green.
Inside, the SUV gets an all-black cabin with Mayan Gold accents. It also gets special anniversary details and contrast elements, giving the cabin a more premium look while keeping the familiar Jeep design.
Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition features and technology
The Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition also gets the new 85th Anniversary AXS Personalisation Packages. These packages add features such as ambient lighting, SkyLounge and sunroof illumination, and a Digital IRVM. The digital rear-view mirror uses a screen instead of a regular mirror. This can offer a clearer view when passengers or luggage block the rear window. The package also includes front and rear dashcams to record journeys.
Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition engine
The Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. It comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 85 units will be sold across India as part of Jeep's 85th anniversary celebrations. Customers can book the special edition through authorised Jeep dealerships or the Jeep India website. Jeep has not announced the delivery timeline yet.
