

Maruti Suzuki September 2026 sales rise 24% to 2.36 lakh units

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 2,36,013 units in September 2026, compared with 1,89,665 units in September 2025. The company's total sales include 1,85,252 units sold in the domestic market, 6,542 units supplied to other OEMs and 44,219 units exported during the month.
Maruti Suzuki September 2026 sales by segment

Utility Vehicles, including the Brezza, Ertiga, e-Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, recorded the highest growth among Maruti Suzuki's segments in September. Sales increased to 78,911 units from 48,695 units in the same month last year.
Passenger cars in the mini, compact and mid-size categories, including the Alto, Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, S-Presso, Swift and WagonR, recorded sales of 91,887 units, up from 74,090 units a year earlier. The Eeco van recorded sales of 11,040 units, compared with 10,035 units in September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki September 2026 production
Maruti Suzuki produced a total of 2,42,011 units, including Passenger Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles, in September 2026. This was higher than the 2,01,915 units produced in September 2025.
Utility Vehicle production increased to 1,09,615 units from 79,496 units a year earlier. Production of Mini and Compact passenger cars, including the Alto, Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, S-Presso, Swift, WagonR and OEM models, stood at 1,15,220 units, compared with 1,05,619 units in September 2025. Eeco production stood at 13,256 units, while Super Carry LCV production reached 3,920 units.

Maruti Suzuki's first-half FY27 performance
During the April-September FY27 period, Maruti Suzuki's total sales reached 13,79,378 units, compared with 10,78,735 units in the same period of FY26. Domestic sales, including LCVs, stood at 11,00,260 units during the first half of FY27, up from 8,12,413 units a year earlier. Exports also increased to 2,32,855 units from 2,07,459 units during the same period.
