JSW MG Motor India launched the MG Cyberster on July 25 2025. It came in as the country's first all-electric open-top roadster and was sold exclusively through MG's premium retail channel, MG Select. It launched at Rs 74.99 lakh ex-showroom as a single fully loaded variant. The MG Cyberster electric roadster has now received its first price hike in India.

The MG Cyberster price has gone up by Rs 2.5 lakh for April 2026. The previous ex-showroom price was Rs 74.99 lakh. With this revision, the MG Cyberster price in India now stands at Rs 77.49 lakh ex-showroom. There is no change in the variant or feature list. The car continues to be sold as a single GT variant through MG Select showrooms. 

 

This is the first price hike since the MG Cyberster India launch in July 2025, making it a notable revision for anyone who has been tracking the car or planning a purchase. At Rs 77.49 lakh the MG Cyberster electric sports car still has no direct rival in India. No other electric roadster or convertible is available at this price point in the country right now.

 

MG Cyberster features — What you get at Rs 77.49 lakh

 

The MG Cyberster is a two-seater convertible with a driver-focused cabin. It gets a three-screen setup with a 10.25-inch driver display and two 7-inch screens on either side, plus another 7-inch vertical touchscreen near the drive selector.

It comes with a fabric soft top that opens and closes electrically. Features include ventilated seats, automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets a 360-degree camera.

 

On safety, it has Level 2 ADAS features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. It also includes multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The car runs on 20-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli tyres and gets Brembo brakes.

The MG Cyberster comes in five colour options including Flare Red with black roof, Nuclear Yellow with black roof, Andes Grey with red roof, Modern Beige with red roof and Irises Cyan.

The MG Cyberster uses a 77 kWh battery with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. It produces 503 PS and 725 Nm, with a claimed 0 to 100 kmph time of 3.2 seconds. The car is designed with a 50:50 weight distribution for better balance. The claimed range is 580 km (CLTC). Real-world range will vary. It comes with four driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Custom, and Super Sport. The battery supports both AC and DC fast charging. MG also offers charging support through its eHUB app and roadside assistance in select cities.
