Tata Aeris design differences across variants

Tata Aeris

The Tata Aeris Smart and Pure variants come with the basic exterior equipment. Both get steel wheels with covers instead of alloy wheels and miss out on LED lighting. The Pure+ adds a fabric front armrest and offers R15 Dynamic Hyperstyle wheels on the petrol version, but the headlamps and tail lamps continue to use non-LED units.

The bigger change comes with the Creative variant, which gets Signature LED headlamps with LED DRLs and Infinity Connected LED tail lamps. It also adds R15 Diamond Aero alloy wheels on the petrol version, along with chrome door handles and a cooled glovebox, giving the Aeris a more premium look.

The top-spec Accomplished takes the exterior a step further with LED fog lamps, a dual-tone roof option and additional chrome detailing. This makes it the most feature-rich and visually upgraded variant in the Aeris range.

Tata Aeris engine options across variants

All five variants share the same set of two powertrains, so the choice of engine does not restrict which trim you can pick, aside from a few wheel and feature exceptions noted above.

EngineDisplacementPowerTorqueTransmission
1.2L Revotron petrol1,199cc86 PS at 6,000 rpm113 Nm at 3,300 rpm5-speed MT / AMT
1.2L Revotron iCNG1,199cc75.5 PS at 6,000 rpm96.5 Nm at 3,500 rpm5-speed MT / AMT

The Smart variant is the only trim where the petrol and CNG options are offered solely with a manual gearbox; every other variant gets the CNG engine with both manual and AMT choices.

Tata Aeris dimensions and practicality

Tata Aeris

Across the range, the Aeris measures 3,995mm in length, 1,684mm in width and 1,532mm in height, with a 2,450mm wheelbase. The petrol version offers 419 litres of boot space, which Tata positions as a strong point for the car versus rivals. Fuel tank capacity stands at 35 litres for the petrol version, while the iCNG version retains the same 35-litre petrol tank alongside a 70-litre (water capacity) twin-cylinder CNG setup positioned under the boot floor.
