

Tata June 2025 car sales in India down by 14.8%!

Tata Motors has registered another month of negative growth, with sales falling by 14.8% for passenger vehicles. There has been a fall in both commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle sales for the domestic market, though exports have witnessed an increase. Here’s an analysis of the Tata June 2025 sales, with both month-on-month and year-on-year comparisons.

MoM and YoY analysis

Month-on-month sales for the carmaker declined by 3.9%, with domestic sales falling by 3.6%, and international sales by 10.9%. Net year-on-year sales also declined by 10.8%, with domestic sales falling by 12.3%. Exports, however, grew by 68.6%.
Tata Motors passenger vehicle sales

Domestic passenger vehicle sales fell by 14.8%, while exports for passenger vehicles rose by 54%, when compared to the same period last year.

Tata Motors commercial vehicle sales

Domestic commercial vehicle sales fell by 8.8%, whereas exports of commercial vehicles grew by 69.6%, when compared to the same month last year.
