Tata Motors has officially launched the Punch EV facelift, offered in five variants: Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. Bookings for the facelift are open nationwide at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Customers can secure their vehicle either at authorised Tata dealerships or online through Tata’s official booking platform. Additionally, Tata has confirmed that deliveries of the updated Punch EV will begin very soon.

Tata Punch EV Facelift delivery timeline confirmed — Details
Tata Punch EV Facelift deliveries are confirmed to begin by the end of the month, on 28th February. Early bookers are likely to receive their cars more timely compared to those who book later. The delivery timeline will depend on demand. If the demand remains "high", it could take longer, but if it stays "low", deliveries could happen sooner.

The Tata Punch EV Facelift comes in two battery options. The 30 kWh version delivers 65 kW of power and 154 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 13.5 seconds. Its real-world tata punch ev range is around 260–275 km, and a short 15-minute top-up can add 110–145 km.
The 40 kWh version steps up the performance with 95 kW of power while keeping the same torque. It hits 100 km/h in just 9 seconds and offers a longer Tata Punch EV range of 335–350 km. A quick 15-minute top-up adds 135–180 km.

Both Punch EV variants use the CCS2 charging standard and come with a portable charging cable. They support 3.3 kW AC, 7.2 kW AC fast charging, and DC fast charging. Each comes with a 3.3 kW AC wall box for home charging.
Charging time varies by method. From a 15A plug point, the 30 kWh takes around 11.9 hours and the 40 kWh takes 14.8 hours to fully charge. Using a 7.2 kW AC wall box or fast charger reduces this to roughly 4.5 hours for the 30 kWh and 5.3 hours for the 40 kWh. DC fast charging is much quicker, taking around 30 minutes to go from 10% to 80% and 26 minutes from 20% to 80% for both variants. This means both cars are practical for home charging overnight, while DC fast charging makes longer trips much more convenient.

The new 2026 Tata Punch base price starts at Rs 9.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.59 lakh. These prices apply to the standard lineup without the BaaS scheme, across Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+ S trims.
With the BaaS option, the Punch facelift becomes even more affordable, starting at Rs 6.49 lakh for the Smart variant, with a battery rental of Rs 2.6 per km. The full variant-wise price list under BaaS is yet to be officially revealed.
