Tata Punch facelift launched in India — Starts at Rs 5.59 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the new Punch facelift, with prices starting at Rs 5.59 lakh. The CNG variants begin at Rs 6.69 lakh, while the new turbo petrol trims start from Rs 8.29 lakh.

The facelift brings a noticeable redesign up front. The face looks sharper and more in line with Tata’s newer models. Clear visual cues borrowed from the Harrier. Alongside the exterior updates, Tata has also worked on the feature list adding meaningful upgrades.

Tata Punch facelift design — What's new?

The Tata Punch facelift gets quite a few updates at the front. The LED DRLs have been revised and now appear slightly longer. The grille is slimmer and the projector headlamps have been updated. Below them are new twin-pod fog lamps, similar in layout to those on the Tata Nexon. The front bumper has also been redesigned and looks more chunky than before.

At the rear, the Punch now features connected LED tail lamps and a revised bumper with a silver skid plate. It also gets a roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and rear wiper and washer. The facelift introduces new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels rounding off the exterior changes.

The new Tata Punch facelift colour options offer a mix of fresh and familiar choices, including Cyantafic, Caramel, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds, and Pristine White.

2026 Tata Punch interior & features

Inside, the Punch facelift gets a 10.24-inch slim touchscreen infotainment system by HARMAN. The AC panel below has been redesigned, and the twin vents are replaced by a single rectangular unit. The cabin now features a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel and a new dual-tone charcoal-blue theme with white inserts on the dashboard and door panels. The front seats also get extendable thigh support for added comfort.

The feature list has been expanded significantly. The Punch now comes with a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start, connected car tech, wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming IRVM, a single-pane electric sunroof, and rain-sensing wipers. 

On the safety front, it offers six airbags as standard, along with ABS, cruise control, electronic stability control, TPMS, ISOFIX, hill hold assist, 360-degree camera, and a blind-spot monitor.

Tata Punch facelift engine

The 2026 Tata Punch carries forward the same 1.2L petrol engine and the CNG option. What’s new is the addition of a 1.2L turbo petrol, 3-cylinder engine, similar to the one used in the Tata Nexon. This turbo petrol unit produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, and it is offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.
