Tata Cars has introduced the Sierra #DARK, an all-black version of its Premium Mid-SUV, with prices starting at Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It gets a Friesian Black exterior, a Violet Eclipse interior theme and purple chrome accents. The new edition keeps the Sierra's feature-rich cabin while adding a more distinctive look.
The Sierra #DARK is the latest addition to Tata's #DARK range, which is known for its black-themed design and distinctive styling. Tata says the edition is aimed at buyers looking for a more exclusive and personalised version of the Sierra.
Tata Sierra Dark Edition exterior and cabin design
The Tata Sierra Dark Edition gets an all-black exterior that highlights its muscular proportions, familiar silhouette and strong road presence. The Friesian Black paint is paired with purple chrome accents, which add contrast to the dark exterior.
Inside, the SUV gets an all-black leatherette cabin with a more premium and lounge-like feel. The purple chrome elements continue inside and outside, giving the #DARK edition a different look from the standard Sierra.
The #DARK treatment is available across the Sierra Legend Series. It can be chosen with the Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L personas, along with the Accomplished and Accomplished+ personas.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition engine and transmission choices
The Sierra #DARK gets the same powertrain options as the Sierra Legend Series. These include the 1.5-litre Revotron petrol and 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engines. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmission options. The 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol engine is offered only with an automatic gearbox on the Adventure+ L, Accomplished and Accomplished+ personas.
