Toyota has unveiled the Urban Cruiser Ebella EV in India. This is the carmaker’s first fully electric vehicle in the country. Essentially, it is Toyota’s version of the Maruti eVitara. The Toyota Ebella EV price has not been announced yet and could take some time. However, the booking window is already open across India.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV stands out with sharply positioned headlights featuring LED DRLs in a dot-like pattern. The front is dominated by a closed-off grille and an all-black lower bumper. The charging port is located on the left side above the front wheel arch.
At the rear, the car includes elements such as a wiper, hood spoiler, under-hood light, and shark-fin antenna. The connected taillights feature an L-shaped design with dot-patterned illumination. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. It is available in several striking colours: Bluish Black, Cafe White, Sporting Red, Gaming Grey, and Enticing Silver. There are also four dual-tone options with a black roof: Land Breeze Green, Sporting Red, Enticing Silver, and Cafe White.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV interior is clearly inspired by the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. The new Toyota Ebella EV features a dual-screen setup, consisting of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster.
Additional features include multi-zone climate control, wireless charger, two-spoke steering wheel, JBL music system, reclining and sliding rear seats, 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, ride-by-wire technology, ambient lighting, fixed glass roof, PM2.5 cabin air filter, and more.
The 2026 Urban Cruiser EV safety features are also extensive, with 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, parking sensors, EPB with auto hold, 360-degree camera, TPMS, VSM, and level 2 ADAS suite, among others

The 2026 Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV comes with two battery options. The 49 kWh battery delivers 144 PS, while the 61 kWh version produces 174 PS. Both batteries offer the same torque of 189 Nm. According to ARAI, the Toyota Ebella EV range reaches up to 543 km on a single charge.

Bookings for the 2026 Toyota Ebella EV are now open in India. You can reserve it online or at an authorised Toyota dealership with a token amount of Rs 25,000.
