The first two cars from the MG Select portfolio — M9 and Cyberster — have been long awaited for official launches now. We expect that they might finally be here in the month of July, with other upcoming new cars in India like the next-gen Hyundai Venue, Kia Carens Clavis EV, and BMW 2 Series GC. Kia Carens Clavis EV

Expected starting price: Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom)
Launch date: July 15, 2025
Following the launch of the Kia Carens Clavis, an electric version of the MPV is soon going to be launched, with it expected to share its powertrain options with the Hyundai Creta Electric. The carmaker is yet to confirm the specs though.

Expected starting price: Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom)
MG’s two-door electric sportscar, the Cyberster, is expected to be launched this month. It will be offered in the more powerful dual-motor configuration in India, and the same was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.

MG M9

Expected starting price: Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom)
Another product that will be retailed via its new network of MG Select dealerships, the MG M9 is also likely to be here this month. It will be an electric vehicle as well, and will go against the likes of the Kia Carnival and the Toyota Vellfire.
Next-gen Hyundai Venue

Expected starting price: Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom)
The first of Hyundai’s 26 new cars planned to be launched over the next five years, the second generation Hyundai Venue is likely to be launched in July 2025. It has been spied testing on multiple occasions now, and an India launch is imminent.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

Expected starting price: Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom)
Launched overseas last year, the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe India launch is likely to take place sometime this month, and cars have started reaching certain BMW dealerships, which further solidify the possibility of a nearing launch.
