Upcoming Kia cars in India in 2025-2026 — Models you might want to wait for

As of 2025, up to the time of writing this article, Kia has launched the Kia Syros in the market, along with the recently arrived Kia Carens Clavis model. Apart from these two new models for this year, there are more in the pipeline — not just for now, but also for the coming year. Below is a list of these upcoming Kia cars in India that are expected to reach Indian shores sooner or later.

Kia Carens Clavis EV

The upcoming Kia model, whose launch is just around the corner, is the Kia Clavis EV. This will also be the first-ever Kia EV model to be locally developed and manufactured for the Indian market. It is said that the model will share its platform with the Hyundai Creta EV model, which comes in two battery options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The Kia Carens Clavis launch timeline has also been confirmed for July. Its price is expected to be somewhere between Rs 19 lakh and Rs 26 lakh.

Next-gen Kia Seltos 

The Second Gen Kia Seltos launch is expected to take place either towards the end of this year or in early 2026. From time to time, spy shots of this model have appeared, showing updates to the front fascia and rear section. Inside, it will come with a new dashboard along with loaded feature options. Meanwhile, the engine specs are expected to remain the same. The upcoming Seltos is anticipated to be priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 22 lakh.

Kia Syros EV

In the list of upcoming Kia models in India, the electric version of the Kia Syros is also in the pipeline. If things go in a positive direction, it is expected to be launched in India by 2026 and is anticipated to be priced starting from around Rs 14 lakh. It is said that the Syros EV is expected to share its K1 platform with the Hyundai Inster EV, which comes with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery options in international markets.

Kia EV3 

The Kia EV3 was globally unveiled last year, and it is expected to arrive in India by 2026. This upcoming EV features a front fascia that looks somewhat similar to the Kia EV9. 

Internationally, it comes with two battery options – a standard 58.3 kWh and a long-range 81.4 kWh. The long-range version has a claimed WLTP range of up to 600 km. Compared to the EV6 and EV9, which come with a much higher price tag, the Kia EV3 is expected to be priced more affordably, anticipated between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.
