Building on the anticipation, Vinfast has opened bookings for its two new electric SUVs for India. The new Vinfast VF6 bookings are now open ahead of its India launch. Read on to know more about the Vinfast VF6 expected price, launch timeline and booking details.

Vinfast has officially began accepting bookings for the new VF6 electric SUV for a token amount of Rs 21,000. Interested buyers can either log on to Vinfast India website or reach out to their nearest Vinfast dealership to make the booking.

Vinfast VF6 launch and delivery timeline
The Vinfast VF6 India launch will take place in the month of August, 2025, following the inauguration of Vinfast’s brand-new assembly plant located at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. The Vinfast VF6 deliveries are said to take place soon after the launch. As per the company, Vinfast’s Thoothukudi facility in Tamil Nadu represents a $500 million investment and will produce 150,000 vehicles annually when fully operational, creating approximately 3,500 direct jobs.

Vinfast VF6 features and specifications
The Vinfast VF6 comes with a 59.6kWh battery pack that powers a 204PS front-mounted electric motor. While the claimed range for the Indian market is under the wraps, the VF6 offers a WLTP-certified range of 480km on a single charge. Given its length of 4,238mm, it will rub shoulders with other electric SUVs like the MG Windsor EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV and MG ZS EV.
Coming to the Vinfast VF6 features, it offers Level-2 ADAS, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, head-up display, central touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity suite, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat, glass roof, front ventilated seats and surround view camera to name a few.

Ensuring a seamless ownership experience, VinFast has signed agreements with 13 dealer partners to establish 32 dealerships across 27 cities, forming a 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) ecosystem. The initial set of dealerships will be established in key urban and emerging EV markets, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Surat, Calicut, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Shimla, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior, Vapi, Baroda and Goa.
