Volkswagen Virtus celebrates four years in India — Pay later plan, loyalty benefits & more

Volkswagen India is celebrating the fourth anniversary of the Virtus, which was launched in 2022. To mark the occasion, the company has announced a range of special offers and ownership benefits across the Virtus lineup, available at Volkswagen dealerships across India.

The Virtus has also been the best-selling premium sedan in India for more than two years. Despite SUVs becoming the preferred choice for many buyers, the Virtus has continued to perform well and has maintained its position in the segment.

Volkswagen Virtus celebrates four years in India — Sales pace since 2022

Volkswagen says it has sold one Virtus every 24 minutes since the sedan was launched in 2022. While the company hasn't shared the total sales number, this gives a fair idea of how consistently the Virtus has been selling over the past four years.

The Virtus also continues to lead the premium sedan segment in 2026. According to Volkswagen, buyers are choosing the GT variants and automatic gearbox options the most, showing a clear preference for the more performance-oriented and convenience-focused versions of the sedan.

Volkswagen Virtus anniversary benefits

As part of the fourth anniversary celebrations, Volkswagen India is offering a range of customer benefits on the Virtus. Buyers can opt for a Buy Now, Pay Later scheme, allowing them to take delivery of the car while deferring part of the payment. Existing Volkswagen customers can also avail loyalty benefits when purchasing or upgrading to the Virtus. Along with these, Volkswagen is offering special anniversary benefits across the Virtus lineup. The company has also announced exclusive offers for doctors and chartered accountants.
