The Indian automotive market is dominated by SUVs today. Sedans are slowly disappearing from the portfolios of automakers, and there are fresh body styles such as the coupe SUV coming in. The popularity of SUVs is not restricted to India but is a global phenomena, with companies such as Ferrari and Rolls Royce too coming up with their versions of an ‘SUV’. We aren’t here to discuss these cars here at the moment though.
