The Cars24 Lifetime Warranty covers your car for up to 12 years from its registration date, or 1,50,000 km, whichever comes first. To put that in context: the standard used car warranty in India runs 6 to 12 months. A handful of platforms stretch to a year. Service requirement: what keeps the warranty valid

To keep the warranty active, the car must be serviced every 6 months or 6,000 km, whichever comes first. All services must be done at Cars24-certified workshops. This isn’t a technicality designed to catch you out. It’s the same standard the warranty is built on: Cars24-controlled maintenance means Cars24 can stand behind the car’s condition long-term.

What makes the warranty void

• Accidents or collision damage

Annual renewal and transferability

The warranty requires a mandatory annual renewal fee of Rs 1,000 to keep coverage active. It is non-transferable and covers the original buyer only. If the car is resold, the warranty does not carry over to the new owner.

Every car sold by Cars24 comes with a complimentary 30-day comprehensive warranty valid for 1,500 km from the date of purchase. All purchases also include a 12-month extended warranty already built into the purchase price, valued between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 depending on the vehicle.

The Lifetime Warranty takes that further. It extends your coverage from 1 year to up to 12 years, and from the first 1,500 km to 1,50,000 km, for the three most expensive systems in the car. The Rs 1,000 annual renewal fee is what keeps it active year on year.
