Following its 5-star result at Bharat NCAP, the Victoris turns its Global NCAP into victory too, bagging full 5-star rating in both adult occupant and child occupant safety tests. Maruti Victors adult safety rating

 

Starting with the adult occupant safety rating, the Victoris scored 33.72 points out of 34, bagging a 5-star rating. In the frontal offset impact crash test, protection of the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs, left tibia, and feet was rated ‘good’, while the chest and right tibia scored ‘adequate’. For the co-driver, protection of the head, neck, chest, pelvis, thighs, and tibias received a uniform ‘good’ rating. The crash tests found the bodyshell integrity stable as it's capable to withstand further loadings.

Maruti Victoris child safety rating

 

Moving to the child safety rating, the Victoris scored 41 points out of 49, scoring a perfect 5-star rating too. The Victoris scored 24 points in the dynamic score and full 12 points in the child restraint system tests. The midsize SUV received a perfect 4 out of 4 dynamic score for side protection of both the 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies, while frontal protection for the same dummies was also rated a full 8 out of 8.

 

Maruti Victoris safety features

 

The Victoris comes standard with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, 3-point seatbelts with reminders for every passenger, ABS with EBD, traction control, rear parking sensors, overspeed alerts, and more. Higher trims further add features like a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and Level 2 ADAS.

Already positioned among the top five highest-rated models in BNCAP tests, the Victoris now also boasts a 5-star Global NCAP rating, making it one of the safest choices in the midsize SUV category.
