Outline

Mahindra has revised the Bolero prices in May 2026 across all four variants — B4, B6, B6(O), and B8. The hikes are not uniform and the differences are significant enough to affect your buying budget, particularly if you were looking at the mid or upper variants. The B6(O) sees the steepest jump at Rs 26,500, while the base B4 gets away with just a Rs 500 increase. The Bolero range now spans from Rs 7,99,500 at the entry level to Rs 9,90,500 at the top, a spread of about Rs 1.91 lakh across the four-variant lineup.

Here is the complete picture of what each variant cost before and what it costs now, along with the exact price difference.

VariantFuel TypeOld PriceNew PricePrice Increase
B41.5L Diesel ManualRs 7,99,000Rs 7,99,500+ Rs 500
B61.5L Diesel ManualRs 8,69,000Rs 8,94,500+ Rs 25,500
B6 (O)1.5L Diesel ManualRs 9,09,000Rs 9,35,500+ Rs 26,500
B81.5L Diesel ManualRs 9,69,000Rs 9,90,500+ Rs 21,500

The base B4 is almost unchanged. A Rs 500 increase is too small to make any real difference to the final on-road cost. But things change once you move higher in the lineup. The B6 now costs Rs 25,500 more, while the B6(O) gets the biggest hike at Rs 26,500. The top-spec B8 also sees a noticeable increase of Rs 21,500.

This changes the pricing balance a bit. The B4 still remains the safest pick for budget-focused buyers, but the mid and higher variants now cost significantly more than before. On a vehicle priced under Rs 10 lakh, a hike of over Rs 20,000 is enough to be noticed. The gap between the base B4 and the top B8 now stands at Rs 1.91 lakh.

Bolero engine specs and what powers every variant

Every variant of the Mahindra Bolero, from the B4 to the B8, uses the same 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. There are no petrol or automatic options. The mHawk75 diesel engine makes around 75hp and 210Nm of torque, with power sent to the rear wheels.
