JSW MG Motor India launched the MG M9 Presidential Limousine in India on July 21, 2025. It was introduced as a luxury, chauffeur-driven electric MPV and the longest 7-seater in the country, with an introductory price of Rs 69.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is positioned between the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire and is sold through MG’s premium Select dealerships. Less than a year after launch, the M9 has now received its first price hike.

The MG M9 Presidential Limousine price has gone up by Rs 5 lakh. This takes the new ex-showroom price to Rs 75.9 lakh. This is the first price revision since the car's India launch in July 2025. The car comes in a single fully loaded variant, so there is no base or mid trim to consider. The MG M9 price hike of Rs 5 lakh is significant, given the car was already positioned as a premium luxury buy when it arrived. For those who booked it at the introductory Rs 69.9 lakh price, the timing matters.
MG M9 Presidential Limousine features — What you get at Rs 75.9 lakh
The MG M9 is loaded with features that back up its presidential tag. The second row gets captain seats with 16-way power adjustment, along with ventilation, heating, and 8 massage modes. There is also a powered ottoman. Each seat has a touchscreen to control seat functions, AC, and ambient lighting. The cabin uses cognac brown leather and suede.

It comes with a dual sunroof setup, a single-pane unit at the front and a larger panoramic unit at the rear. Other features include a 13-speaker JBL sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, and 3-zone climate control with PM 2.5 filtration. The infotainment screen is 31.24 cm, and the driver gets a 17.78 cm digital cluster. There is also a digital inside rear-view mirror.
On the outside, there are no design changes. It gets electric sliding doors and rides on 19-inch Continental ContiSeal self-sealing tyres. Boot space is 945 litres, expandable to 1720 litres with the third row folded. It also has a 55-litre frunk. For safety, it gets 7 airbags and a 5-star rating from Euro NCAP. It also includes Level 2 ADAS features like lane keep assist, forward collision warning, blind spot detection, and adaptive cruise control, along with a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.

2026 MG M9 battery specs and range
The MG M9 uses a 90 kWh NMC battery pack with a front-mounted electric motor producing 245 PS and 350 Nm. It has a claimed range of 548 km (MIDC). The suspension setup includes MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link rear.
For charging, it supports up to 160 kW DC fast charging, which can take the battery from 0 to 100% in about 90 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger takes around 10 hours. A portable charger for a 16A socket is also included. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.
