Brazil gets the 163PS tune with flex fuel support for low running costs whereas Turkey gets a less powerful 138PS power tune with the same engine. Latin American markets will get the 156PS and 270Nm tune, which is also likely to be offered as a base engine in the Indian market. Renault has mentioned that the Boreal is capable of supporting different powertrain options according to the market demands. The turbo petrol engine comes mated to a newly-developed 6-speed wet-dual-clutch automatic transmission, keeping the needs of emerging markets in mind.
