Renault Kiger gets new Evolution+ variants and Techno Turbo manual in June 2026

Renault has expanded the Kiger's lineup with four new variants this month. The most significant change is the arrival of the Evolution+ Turbo MT at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes the Kiger's 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual significantly more accessible than before.
Previously, buyers wanting a turbo manual had to start at the Emotion Turbo MT, priced at Rs 9.35 lakh. The new variant closes that gap considerably and adds needed features at the lower price point. The update also brings the Techno Turbo manual to the lineup for the first time.
What new Ranult Kiger Evolution+ variant offers
The Renault Kiger Evolution+ is a new mid-spec trim that slots between the existing Evolution and Techno variants. It is available with both the naturally aspirated 1.0-litre engine and the turbo-petrol unit. The NA version starts at Rs 6.99 lakh for the manual and Rs 7.45 lakh for the AMT. The turbo-petrol manual is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh. There is no AMT or CVT option for the Evolution+ Turbo.
Equipment on the Evolution+ includes automatic AC, a push-button start and stop system, and wireless smartphone connectivity. These are meaningful upgrades over the base Evolution variant and make the Evolution+ a more complete package for everyday use without jumping to the pricier Techno or Emotion trims.
Renault Kiger Techno Turbo now available with manual gearbox
Previously, the Techno Turbo was sold exclusively with a CVT automatic at Rs 9.35 lakh. With this update, a manual gearbox option is now available for the Techno Turbo at Rs 8.45 lakh. This makes the Kiger turbo manual available at two price points now, giving buyers more flexibility in how they configure their purchase.

Renault Kiger engines on offer
The Kiger continues with two engine options. The naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol makes around 72bhp and is available with a manual and AMT. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit produces 100bhp and 160Nm and is paired with a manual, while the CVT is reserved for the top-spec Emotion Turbo and Techno Turbo variants. The Kiger competes in the compact SUV segment against the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Nissan Magnite.
