Renault Kwid gets six airbags as standard — Limited-run Anniversary Edition launched

Renault is celebrating 10 years of sales of the Renault Kwid hatchback in India, with the launch of a limited-run Anniversary Edition model, as well as stuffing a few additional features on the regular model. Here’s more about the updates on the 2025 Renault Kwid.

New Renault Kwid Anniversary Edition

Limited to 500 units, the Anniversary Edition Kwid is based on the mid-spec Techno variant. It is offered in two dual-colour options, and features decals on the C-pillar and door garnishes. There’s a contrasting yellow strip on the front grille and the car sits on black alloy wheels. Complementing the exterior are yellow accents on the interior trims and seats. The car also gets illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps.

Renault Kwid variants reshuffle

The variants get a new nomenclature — Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Climber. The Kwid now comes with six airbags and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers as standard. Powertrain options remain unchanged, which include a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT. Maximum power and torque figures stand at 69PS and 93Nm respectively.
