- 1Tata to raise prices across its full passenger vehicle range from July 1, 2026
- 2Increase of up to 1.5% depending on model and variant
- 3This is the second price hike in 2026, following the April 1 revision
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) has officially announced a price hike across its complete passenger vehicle range, effective July 1, 2026. The revision, which will apply to both internal combustion engine (ICE) models and the company's expanding electric vehicle lineup. While the announcement was expected given the broader trend of rising input costs, it still means that June may be the last window for buyers to purchase at current prices.
The company, in its exchange filing, stated that the decision was made to partially offset the impact of higher raw material costs and sustained inflationary pressures. Tata Motors added that it continues to absorb a significant portion of these cost increases internally and that only a part is being passed on to customers through this adjustment.
Tata cars & EVs to get more expensive from next month — 2nd price hike of the year

This will be Tata Motors' second price revision in 2026. The first round of increases was implemented on April 1 earlier this year. The latest hike comes at a time when the company has been particularly active on the product front, having launched or refreshed multiple models since January. Despite the revision, the company says it remains committed to maintaining the overall value proposition of its vehicles.
For prospective buyers, the remaining weeks of June represent an opportunity to purchase any Tata car or EV at current prices before July 1. Once the revised prices are officially communicated, the new rates will apply to all fresh bookings and deliveries made from that date.

Models affected by the July price hike
The upcoming price revision will touch almost every model currently on sale under the Tata Motors passenger vehicle umbrella. On the ICE side, this includes the Tiago hatchback, Tigor compact sedan, Altroz premium hatchback, Punch micro-SUV, Nexon compact SUV, Curvv coupe-SUV, Harrier midsize SUV, Safari full-size SUV and the recently launched Sierra. The electric lineup is equally impacted, with the Tiago EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, Curvv EV and Harrier EV all set to see revised prices.

Tata Motors has not yet shared model-by-model breakdowns for the revised prices. These are typically disclosed closer to the implementation date. The company has, however, confirmed that the actual increase will vary based on the specific model and variant, so the impact will not be uniform across the board.
