Volkswagen India has launched the Virtus Anniversary Edition, introduced to mark 4 years of the Virtus in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 19,19,900, ex-showroom, the Anniversary Edition is offered exclusively on the Virtus GT Plus Sport variant. It will be available in limited numbers across Volkswagen dealerships in India.
Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition exclusive colour and styling touches
The biggest highlight of the Virtus Anniversary Edition is the new Avocado Pearl exterior colour, available only on this special edition. It is paired with a black roof and black alloy wheels, giving the sedan a more distinctive look.
Since the Anniversary Edition is based on the GT Plus Sport variant, it carries over the same exterior styling and equipment. The exclusive paint finish and dual-tone roof are the main elements that differentiate it from the standard model.
Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition features
The VW Virtus Anniversary Edition retains all the features available on the GT Plus Sport. These include a 20.32cm digital cockpit, electric sunroof, Laser Red ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, among other features.
The Virtus Anniversary Edition comes with six airbags as standard and carries a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. Volkswagen also says the sedan is equipped with more than 40 safety features across the range.

Powering the Virtus Anniversary Edition is the familiar 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine, producing 150PS and 250Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, continuing the performance-focused character of the GT Plus Sport.

Volkswagen has also highlighted its range of Genuine Accessories, available for both the Virtus and Taigun. Buyers can opt for features such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and puddle lamps, all installed through authorised dealerships.
