The latest addition to BMW’s X-series, 2021 X1 is now more muscular and meaner. This addition is BS6 compliant and is one of the cleanest Diesel engines in production now. The most noticeable change in this 2021 X1 is a much bigger quintessential kidney grille which makes it look bulkier from the front. Another edition is the fitting of LEDs in both fog lights and headlights.
The powertrain is powered by a 2.0-liter In-Line 4 cylinder engine which produces about 192hp of power and can push this SUV to 100km/hr from zero in 7.7 seconds. This In-line 4 is mated with a 7-speed automatic transmission. BS6 compliant 2.0-liter diesel engine produces 190ps of power and 400Nm of torque and this mill is then mated to an 8-speed transmission.
BMW X1 is loaded with a plethora of features which includes a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, drive modes, ambient lighting, powered front seats, keyless entry with push-button start and a multi-info display. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, traction control, and electronic stability control.
Available at affordable pricing, BMW X1 starts at a price tag of INR 35.99 lakhs and is available in 6 colors in which 3 of them are a fresh addition. The attractive finance scheme is much affordable if we compare it with the competitors in this segment. Customers can also take service and warranty packages for 5 years which is worth 15,000rs but this is only for early-birds.
Available in 3 different variants called the SportX, xLine, and MSport. The BMW X1 will be in direct competition with Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
