It’s also a hotbed for many IT companies, who have established their offices in the city and employ thousands. The high population of well-earning young and middle-aged individuals in the city has pretty much led to a huge demand for used cars in Hyderabad.

The popularity of the used cars can be explained through their affordable pricing and a relatively lower rate of depreciation than newer models. This gives the owners flexibility to switch cars easily, without incurring heavy losses. However, one needs to understand that it’s of high importance for the new owner to get the ownership of the used car transferred to his name soon after buying it. The local RTO needs to be intimated of the change of ownership of a vehicle within 30 days of sale. For transfer of ownership, a local NOC would be required in case the buyer and seller don’t live in the same RTO area.
