1) Best-in-class refined 4-cylinder engine. This itself automatically makes the car better than any 3-cylinder engines in the market, IMO. Low vibrations matter a lot to me. 2) Excellent & smooth shifting gear box 3) Very good suspension & ride quality 4) Fuel-effiecient. CNG version gives 20 kph in city 32 kph on highways. Petrol 14 kph in bumper- tobumper traffic and 21 on highways. 5) Exterior design is that of a hot hatch, with no cheap black plastic cladding. I see most cars have them now as a cost-cutting measure, I find them ugly. Body-coloured bumper is a big deal now, very cars have them. 6) Acceleration & decelaration is smooth & linear. 7) Reaosnably priced. 8) 80 kgs heavier than Baleno 1st version. Not likely to get 5- star safety rating, but not too bad either. 9) Trackrecord of long -lasting engines. 10) 170 mm ground clearance. With a slighly higher profile tyres, its GC can increase by 10 mm without affecting the mileage & the driving dynamics much. That's that. I can't think of any other other car in the segment. This car offers ample of Headroom and leg space in both rows.It offers a boot of 318 Ltrs which fits enough stuffs. It comes with 1.2 Ltr K series Engine .This engine is a gem from Maruti Suzuki.This 4 cylinder engine is so smooth and combination of performance and milege. Baleno is a features packed car because it comes with 360 Degree Camera,Hud,7 Speakers 9 inch Touch screen infotainment system with apple car play and android auto.For Indian hot climate it comes with Fatc (Fully Automatic Temperature Control System) and uv cut glasses. My first car is a 2015-manufactured, January 2016-registered Maruti Baleno, and it’s been a reliable companion. It scores high on space, engine refinement, fuel efficiency (22 kmpl overall), and low cost of ownership. The car has proven to be dependable over the years with minimal maintenance. However, its stiff suspension makes rides less comfortable for elderly passengers, especially on bumpy roads. Despite that, it's a well-rounded hatchback ideal for city and highway use.

I bought my Car in 2019 and I am happy that we have enough time together. We have a journey of 1.2 Lakh kilometers and it's on. We had our first long drive to Gangotri and Yamunotri Darshan with Family, which is a lifetime memory. Since then, we use to travel almost 130 Kilometers daily. Our journey so far is so good. My Baleno Petrol gives an average of 20.5 kmpl with Ac, which is delight to me.

Maruti engines are super reliable, never have I heard a news of engine breakdown in my area. Cheap maintenance and parts availability and low running costs are the strong points for this.

Very practical car, incredibly easy to drive in traffic, roomy and fuel-efficient. I typically get 18 km/l, which is excellent. Drawbacks? High-speed stability could be improved and the build feels excessively light. However, it's the epitome of stress-free in the city.
