<p>While AMG cars are more about power than fuel efficiency, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 now comes with a mild-hybrid setup that helps reduce consumption. Powered by a 3.0-litre inline-6 turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V starter-generator, the ARAI-rated mileage stands at 9.5 km/l. For a 400+ horsepower SUV with All-Wheel Drive, that’s actually pretty respectable. More importantly, the EQ Boost feature adds an extra 23 hp and improves fuel efficiency during low-speed driving and overtaking.</p>

<p>Performance is where the AMG GLC 43 excels. The engine delivers 421 hp and 500 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds. That’s quick enough to keep up with many sports cars. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The 9-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive ensure that all this power is put down efficiently on all sorts of roads.</p>
