Maruti Suzuki recently updated the Ertiga with six airbags, like nearly every other Maruti Suzuki model on sale. However, in addition to offering six airbags as standard, the carmaker also silently introduced new features to the 2025 Maruti Ertiga. 2025 Maruti Ertiga new features
Take a look at the new features the 2025 Maruti Ertiga offers over the outgoing model:
- 6 airbags as standard
- Type pressure monitoring system
- 2x USB-C fast charger for 2nd row occupants (VXI and higher variants)
- 2x USB-C fast charger for 3rd row occupants (ZXI & ZXI Plus only)
- 2nd row AC vents in front centre console
- 3rd row AC vents on side with adjustable fan speed (available in VXI and higher variants)
- 3-point seatbelts for all passengers
- Adjustable headrests for all passengers
- PM 2.5 filter (available in top model only)
- Rear spoiler
These new features make the updated 2025 Ertiga ever more feature loaded than before. Some of these features such as the PM 2.5 air filter, adjustable headrests, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers and 3rd-row AC vents with fan speed control make the user experience much better than before. Needless to say, these new features have also resulted in small increases in prices.

As you can see in the table above, the price correction impacts the ZXI+ AT variant the most, increasing its price by up to Rs 18,557, which is understandable given the new set of features it now has on offer.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga engine options
The Ertiga comes with a single 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine option, which can also be had with a factory-fitted CNG kit. It is available with the choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, while the CNG only gets the option of a 5-speed manual.
