Maruti Suzuki had earlier announced plans to offer six airbags in all Maruti cars in India by the end of this year. The development has made its way to cars like the Alto K10, Celerio, and Wagon R. Latest news is that the Baleno and Ertiga will also come with six airbags as standard from now on.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga engine options

The Ertiga comes with a single 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine option, which can also be had with a factory-fitted CNG kit. It is available with the choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, while the CNG only gets the option of a 5-speed manual.
