Following other Maruti Arena and Nexa models, the XL6 finally catches on the bandwagon of standard six airbags. Earlier offered only with four airbags, the XL6 now offers standard six airbags across its variants. Furthermore, like the updated Ertiga, the new XL6 also offers new features, which has of course resulted in a price hike as well. 2025 Maruti Suzuki XL6 — What’s new?
Apart from the safety feature update that brings six airbags as standard, the 2025 Maruti XL6 also offers a few new features over the outgoing model. These new feature introductions are similar to what we recently saw in the updated Maruti Ertiga—quite understandable given the shared underpinnings of both family MPVs.

- 2nd-row AC vents on the centre console
- 3rd-row AC vents with fan speed control
- 2x fast Type-C charging ports for 1st row
- 2x fast Type-C charging ports for 2nd row
- PM 2.5 cabin air filter
- Rear spoiler
- Standard six airbags

In addition to these features, Maruti Suzuki has also increased the length of the XL6 by 40mm over the outgoing model, which should result in slightly more space for the third-row passengers.

As you can see in the table above, the 2025 Maruti XL6 price has seen a jump of Rs 10,000 across all variants, except for the Alpha+ MT and AT variants, which continue to retail at old prices.

Maruti XL6 powertrain details
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that puts out 103PS of power at 6000rpm and 137Nm of torque at 4400rpm. There is also a factory-fitted CNG option that delivers 88PS of power and 121Nm of torque. While the CNG and petrol engine come with the 5-speed manual transmission, the latter also offers the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
