2025 MG Cyberster India launch soon? — Started reaching dealerships

Ahead of its official launch in India, the MG Cyberster is being reported to have started reaching the new MG Select dealerships that will exclusively sell the Cyberster and other upcoming premium cars from the manufacturer. As confirmed by MG earlier, it will be offered in the more powerful dual-motor configuration in India. Here are more details about this upcoming electric sportscar, including its specs, features, and the 2025 MG Cyberster India launch timeline.

Upcoming MG Cyberster India launch timeline

With units reaching dealerships, the MG Cyberster launch in India is imminent, expected to take place in the month of July 2025 itself. The MG Cyberster bookings have already been live for about three months now, and can be made against a token amount of Rs 51,000.

MG Cyberster specs

While the car is offered in two configurations in certain global markets, the India-spec car will get a dual-motor setup with a claimed maximum power output of 510PS and 725Nm of peak torque. It also boasts a claimed 0-100kmph time of just 3.2 seconds. The motors are powered by a 77kWh battery pack that gives the car a claimed range of 443km, as per the WLTP cycle.

MG Cyberster design and features 

The Cyberster comes in a 2-door coupe bodystyle along with a convertible soft-top roof. A key highlight of the EV is its scissor doors, which can be opened and closed with just the press of a button. Other key details include sleek LED headlights, machined dual-tone alloy wheels, and arrow shaped LED tail lights.

On the inside, the electric car comes with a triple-screen setup on the dashboard. Given its sporty appearance, everything is centred towards the driver, who operates the car with a stubby steering wheel, while being curled up in a sporty leather seat. On the features front, the Cyberster offers ADAS capabilities, surround view camera, drive modes, powered seats, and a lot more.
