- 2New interior upholstery colour featuring lighter shade
- 3Could over claimed range upwards of 400km on a single charge
Riding on the popularity of the Windsor, MG Motor India is all set to launch the Windsor EV Pro in the Indian market this May. Ahead of its launch, the Windsor EV Pro has already started reaching dealerships and its first clear images are out, revealing key details about the upcoming update to India’s best-selling electric vehicle.
Upcoming MG Windsor EV Pro exterior details
On the outside, the new MG Windsor EV Pro receives a few small changes with the biggest one being the new set of alloy wheels that seem to be a direct carry over from the Hector. Furthermore, the Windsor EV Pro also gets exterior details like connected LED light bars at the front and rear, LED headlights, fixed glass roof and flush fit door handles.

MG Windsor EV Pro interior and features
On the inside, the biggest change to lookout for in the Windsor EV Pro is the addition of the new beige upholstery colour, which will replace the darker theme present on the outgoing model. It remains to be seen if the darker theme is carried on to the standard Windsor EV or introduced to the entire range as a model year update.
On the features front, the Windsor EV already comes equipped with a fixed glass roof, touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital driver’s display, front ventilated seats with powered driver’s seat, surround view camera, rear AC vents and a lot more. The new MG Windsor EV Pro will further introduce features such as Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Load charging along with Level-2 ADAS, making it ever more feature loaded than the current model.

2025 MG Windsor EV Pro battery details
Since its launch, the single biggest complaint with the Windsor EV has been the lack of a large battery pack option. It currently comes with a 38kWh battery pack that is good for a claimed range of 280-300km on a single charge. However, MG is now gearing up to introduce a larger battery pack to the Windsor Pro, which is rumoured to be a 50kWh unit. All the key rivals of the Windsor EV, namely the Creta Electric, Nexon EV and Curvv EV, come with a larger battery pack option for those who want to curb range anxiety.
