Mahindra Thar electric to be revealed on August 15? — New Vision T teaser out

The second teaser for the Mahindra Vision T concept is out, and it further fuels our speculations of it being the Thar electric. It will be revealed on August 15, 2025, along with three other concepts from the Indian carmaker. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming Mahindra Vision T.

Mahindra Thar electric?

The first teaser of the Vision T showed us a squared-off bonnet, an extended bumper, and all-terrain tyres. These elements, along with the suffix ‘T’, made us expect that the Vision T might be a near-production version of the Thar electric, which was first showcased in South Africa back in 2023. The second teaser, which was released a few days ago, shows a cropped side view of the front end of the SUV. The clamp on the bonnet is reminiscent of the Thar electric, as you can see in the picture above. The wheel arches are also visible more clearly, and it is almost certain that it is some version of the Thar electric.

Mahindra Freedom_nu event

Continuing its tradition, Mahindra is set to host a grand event at this year’s Independence Day, with four concepts expected to be revealed. While the brand hasn’t confirmed any models, we expect one of them to be the Mahindra XUV700 electric (Vision X), one to be a new member in the Scorpio family (Vision S), and another rugged SUV to join the Thar family (Vision SXT).
