Soon after releasing the second teaser for the Vision T concept SUV, Mahindra has put out another teaser, this time revealing parts of the rear face. Some key design details confirm that the Vision T will be a member of the Thar family of rugged and off-road focused SUVs. Read ahead to know more details about the upcoming Mahindra Vision T.

The first two teasers of the Vision T concept revealed squared-off wheel arches, a squared-off bonnet, all-terrain tyres, and an aggressive front bumper. The latest teaser gives us a glimpse of the rear end, revealing an extended bumper, side-hinged boot lid with a spare tyre mounted on it, and sloping side panels.

Is it the Mahindra Thar electric?

While all of the above design elements confirm the Vision T to be an incoming member of the Thar family. This is further solidified by the suffix ‘T’. There are strong hints that suggest it to be an iteration of the Mahindra Thar electric, a concept version of which was revealed in South Africa back in 2023. Moreover, the sloping side design and the clamp on the bonnet are reminiscent of the Mahindra Thar.e concept.

Continuing its tradition, Mahindra is set to host a grand event at this year’s Independence Day, with four concepts expected to be revealed. While the brand hasn’t confirmed any models, we expect one of them to be the Mahindra XUV700 electric (Vision X), one to be a new member in the Scorpio family (Vision S), and another rugged SUV to join the Thar family (Vision SXT).
