Mahindra has revised the prices of the XEV 9e for July 2026, and this time the update benefits buyers. The biggest reduction is on the Pack Three variant with the 79 kWh battery, which is now Rs 55,000 cheaper than before. Following the revision, the Mahindra XEV 9e is priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 29.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has made almost no changes to the prices of the 59 kWh variants. While the Pack One technically sees a price increase of Re 1, it has no practical impact on buyers. The Pack Two and Pack Three Select continue at their existing prices, with no revision this month.

The bigger change is seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e 79 kWh variants. While the Pack Two 79 records only a token Re 1 increase, the Pack Three 79 receives a substantial Rs 55,000 price cut, bringing its ex-showroom price down to Rs 29.95 lakh. This makes it the only variant in the lineup to get a noticeable revision in the July 2026 update.

The Mahindra XEV 9e is based on the brand's INGLO electric skateboard platform and is available with two LFP battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Both battery packs use BYD-sourced cells that are assembled in India at Mahindra's Chakan plant using a cell-to-pack design for better space utilisation.

 

The 59 kWh version produces 231 PS and offers a claimed MIDC range of 522 km, while the larger 79 kWh battery delivers 286 PS with a claimed range of 656 km. All variants are rear-wheel drive (RWD), produce 380 Nm of torque. It also comes with standard multiple regenerative braking levels, single-pedal driving, and five drive modes: Default, Range, Everyday, Race, and Snow.

The Mahindra XEV 9e uses the CCS2 charging standard across all variants and comes with a 13A portable AC charger that can be plugged into a regular 16A household socket. Buyers can also opt for either a 7.2 kW or 11.2 kW AC wall charger. Using the faster 11.2 kW charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in around 6 hours, while the 7.2 kW charger takes about 8 to 8.7 hours, depending on the battery pack.

 

For DC fast charging, the XEV 9e can charge from 20 to 80% in just 20 minutes. The 59 kWh variants support up to 140 kW DC charging, while the top-spec 79 kWh Pack Three supports an even faster 180 kW DC charger.
