Along with the Maruti Baleno crash test result of 4-star rating, the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire safety rating is also out. This model has done very well, earning a 5-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection. Earlier in 2024, the new Dzire was tested by Global NCAP and didn’t disappoint, becoming the first Maruti car to receive a 5-star rating. In the Bharat NCAP crash test, the Maruti Dzire secured a total score of 29.46 out of 32 in the adult occupant section. The test included two main parameters — the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test, where it scored 14.17 out of 16, and the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test, with a score of 15.29 out of 16.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire crash test results in the child occupant section show a good 5-star rating with a score of 41.57 out of 49. This test includes different parts: in the dynamic test, it scored 23.57 out of 24; in the CRS installation, the vehicle got full marks with 12 out of 12; but in the vehicle assessment, it scored 6 out of 13.

On the safety front, the New Maruti Dzire comes with several standard features. It is equipped with 6 airbags, high-speed warning alert, 3-point seat belts for all seats, and a seat belt reminder lamp and buzzer for all occupants. Other features include rear defogger, engine immobiliser, speed-sensitive auto door locking, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, ISOFix child seat anchorages, and front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter.

 

There are also a few more features that are available in the higher variants, such as reverse parking camera, 360 view camera, anti-theft security system (shock sensor), TPMS, and day/night adjustable IRVM.
