Maruti Suzuki e Vitara prices revised for June 2026 — Outright and BaaS plans affected
- 1Maruti Suzuki e Vitara prices increased by up to Rs 30,000 effective June 2026
- 2Price increase reflects rising raw material costs and manufacturing expenses
- 3BaaS monthly charges also increase proportionally maintaining service cost structure
Maruti Suzuki has increased prices of the e Vitara electric SUV by up to Rs 30,000 from June 2026. The hike applies across all variants and includes both regular purchase prices and battery-as-a-service (BaaS) plans.
The revision is uniform across the lineup and is linked to rising input costs, including raw materials, semiconductor supply issues, and higher production expenses in the EV supply chain. The increase also affects monthly BaaS charges, keeping subscription pricing in line with the updated vehicle costs.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara prices revised — Hike impact and manufacturing cost escalation
| Variant | Old Price (ex-showroom) | New Price (ex-showroom) |
|---|---|---|
| Delta | Rs 15.99 lakh | Rs 15.99 lakh |
| Zeta | Rs 17.49 lakh | Rs 17.79 lakh |
| Alpha | Rs 19.79 lakh | Rs 19.99 lakh |
| Alpha dual-tone | Rs 20.01 lakh | Rs 20.21 lakh |
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Delta variant remains unchanged in price, while the Zeta variant has increased by Rs 30,000. The Alpha and Alpha dual-tone variants have each seen an increase of Rs 20,000. This shows a selective price revision across the e Vitara lineup, with the base Delta trim staying unaffected.
The price hike is mainly due to rising input costs in key areas such as battery cell sourcing, electric motor components, and semiconductor parts used in EV manufacturing. Prices of important battery materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel have also remained high because of strong global demand for electric vehicles.
Maruti Suzuki has stated that it has absorbed a significant portion of these cost increases internally through efficiency improvements and supply chain optimisation. The price revision only passes on part of the higher costs to customers while helping maintain profitability and support continued investment in its EV plans.
