Maruti Suzuki India has teamed up with Bangalore-based startup TRUEAssist Technology Private Limited through its startup Incubation Program with NSRCEL-IIM Bangalore to introduce a new swivel seat option in the Wagon R.
This new Maruti Wagon R swivel seat option is designed for elderly passengers and people with disabilities. It will make it easier for elderly passengers to get in and out of the car. It isn’t part of the standard Wagon R model but is available as a retrofit kit so owners can add it to their existing cars.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R swivel seat option introduced
Customers who want the Maruti Wagon R swivel seat option can order it as a retrofit kit at Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships. This kit will be available at 200 Arena dealerships across 11 cities, including Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Lucknow, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, and Kolkata.
The swivel seat can be installed in brand-new Wagon R models or retrofitted into vehicles sold after 2019. One of the best things is that it doesn’t require removing or replacing the original OEM seat so the Wagonr interior remains mostly unchanged. The installation process is also straightforward and fast taking roughly an hour to complete, which means drivers can have their upgraded seat ready the same day.

The Maruti Wagon R swivel seat comes with a three-year warranty, which is provided by TRUEAssist Technology Private Limited. The WagonR swivel seat kit has also been put through safety tests at the Automotive Research Association of India and meets all the required safety standards.

The WagonR swivel front seat kit comes at a total price of Rs 64,999. This includes Rs 59,999 for the seat kit itself and an additional Rs 5,000 to cover the cost of professional installation, so buyers can have it fitted and ready to use without any extra hassle.
