MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition launched in India — Top things to know!

The MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition has officially launched in India. Based on the top-spec Essence variant, this edition is limited to just 300 units. It celebrates two key milestones for the brand — one year of the electric car in India and 40,000 units sold nationwide.

This edition is available both with and without the Bass program, giving buyers some added flexibility. Meanwhile, Windsor Inspire Edition bookings are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to begin later this month.

MG Windsor Inspire EV Edition price with & without BaaS

The MG Windsor Inspire Edition price is set at Rs 16.65 lakh if you’re buying it without the BaaS program. However, choose the version with the BaaS program, and the upfront cost drops to Rs 9.99 lakh.

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition accessories — Exterior & interior

The MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition gets a striking exterior in Pearl White with a Starry Black dual-tone finish. Inside, the theme shifts to Sangria Red paired with black leather upholstery.

Some standout touches on this edition: the front grille features rose gold accents, all-alloy wheels are blacked out, and there are bumper corner protectors and body side mouldings. You’ll also find rear window sunshades, a leather key cover, a blackout dashboard, gold inserts around the cabin, ‘Inspire’ cushions, and themed 3D mats.

Beyond those, there are optional extras under the Drive Mate Pro+ kit — a Skylight Infinity View glass roof and wireless illuminated sill plates are available as add-ons.

MG Windsor Inspire EV Edition price with & without BaaS

The MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition continues with the familiar 38kWh battery pack, paired with a single electric motor that puts out 136PS and 200Nm of torque. MG claims a driving range of 332km on a full charge.

Charging times vary depending on your setup. With the standard 3.3kW charger, it takes about 13.8 hours for a full charge. Upgrade to a 7.4kW charger, and that time drops to 6.5 hours. If you have access to a 50kW fast charger, the battery can go from 0 to 80% in just 55 minutes.

The MG Windsor Inspire Edition delivery is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2025. Bookings are already open, and buyers can either reach out to their nearest MG dealership or book directly through the official website.
