Skoda has confirmed that the facelifted Slavia will launch in India on 18 August 2026. It will be the first major update since its debut. The upcoming facelifted Slavia is expected to bring styling revisions, additional features and a transmission change for its entry-level engine. It will continue to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City in one of the country's more closely watched sedan segments.

2025 Skoda Slavia Colour options

Based on test mules spotted ahead of the official unveiling, the upcoming Slavia facelift exterior is expected to receive a new grille design with integrated lighting elements, a styling treatment similar to what Skoda has already introduced on the updated Kushaq and the Kodiaq. Updated LED lighting units in the headlamps and a revised tail-lamp design are also anticipated, along with redesigned front and rear bumpers and a fresh set of alloy wheels.

Skoda Slavia Facelift Cabin and feature updates

Inside, the Slavia facelift dashboard layout is expected to remain largely similar to the outgoing model. But Skoda is likely to introduce a larger 10.25-inch fully digital driver's display in place of the current unit. Other possible additions include revised seat upholstery and front parking sensors.

One feature that may or may not make the cut is a rear-seat massage function, which Skoda introduced on the Kushaq during its facelift in January 2026. Whether this trickles down to the Slavia remains to be seen.

Several existing Slavia features are expected to carry over unchanged, including 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charger, 8-speaker sound system, automatic climate control with rear vents, six airbags as standard, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

New 8-Speed automatic expected for the 1.0 TSI

Mechanically, the Slavia facelift is expected to continue with its existing engine lineup: the 115hp 1.0-litre TSI and the 150hp 1.5-litre TSI, both turbo-petrol units. The key change lies in the transmission paired with the smaller engine. The current 6-speed torque-converter automatic on the 1.0 TSI is expected to be replaced by a newer 8-speed automatic, a unit that made its debut on the Kushaq facelift earlier this year.

The 1.5 TSI engine, meanwhile, is expected to continue with its existing 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), retaining the sportier, quicker-shifting character.

Skoda Slavia Facelift expected pricing

Prices for the current Slavia range from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh, ex-showroom. With the addition of new features, styling updates and the transmission change, Skoda is expected to nudge prices up slightly for the facelifted model, though official figures will only be confirmed at the August 18 launch event.
