The Tata Altroz facelift launch in India is going to take place on May 22, 2025, and it will be the first major refresh for the hatchback since its initial launch back in 2020. Ahead of the price announcement, the carmaker has revealed the car in its production-spec, along with key details such as feature distribution and colour options. Here’s everything that we know about the upcoming Tata Altroz facelift 2025.
New Tata Altroz facelift design changes
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the hatch gets a new stylish grille at the front with fancier headlights. The rear gets a connected lightbar just like most new cars in India, and there’s the ALTROZ badging further down the boot lid. The car can also be seen with a new set of aero-ish wheels and flush door handles.

Key Tata Altroz facelift features include blind spot monitors, sunroof, ambient lighting, cruise control, automatic climate control, 90-degree opening doors, 360-degree cameras, digital driver’s display, six airbags, LED lights, and more.
Upcoming Tata Altroz facelift engine options
Powertrain details of the facelifted car are yet to be disclosed, though we expect it to continue with the same options as the outgoing model. These include a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT, a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 6-speed manual gearbox, the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit with the normal petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual.

Tata Altroz colour options

Tata will offer the new Altroz in a choice of five colours — Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White.
2025 Tata Altroz variants
The hatchback will be made available in five broad trim options — Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S.

Expected Tata Altroz facelift price in India

Expect the facelifted hatchback to be priced onwards of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). Exact prices will be revealed at the Tata Altroz facelift India launch, which is going to happen on May 22. Booking and delivery details are yet to be confirmed as well.
