Toyota has launched the Urban Cruiser Ebella in India in three trims: E1, E2, and E3. Only the top-spec E3 has been officially priced so far, at Rs 23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). But the full feature list across all three variants is available and tells you a lot about where Toyota has drawn the lines between the trims. All three Ebella variants share a common visual identity. The Urban Tech design language, Toyota's signature hammerhead front styling, LED headlamps, DRL, welcome home lamps, and distinctive tail lamps are present across E1, E2, and E3. All trims also get 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, a spare 18-inch alloy wheel, body-side moulding, and a roof end spoiler. The front windshield gets noise-shut IR-cut glass as standard. Auto headlights and electrically adjustable, foldable ORVMs linked to the key are also fitted across all variants.

The interior of the Ebella is largely consistent across trims, with meaningful additions as you move up. All variants get keyless entry, keyless push start, a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster, tilt and telescopic steering, auto AC with rear vents, PM 2.5 filter, front and rear power windows with auto up and down, an electronic tailgate, and a reclining and sliding rear seat with 40:20:40 split folding. The centre console comes with a cup holder and accessory socket, a lower storage box, and front and rear door bottle holders.

The Toyota Ebella E2 adds a wireless smartphone charger and a luggage shelf compared to E1. The E3 then brings in ventilated seats for driver and passenger, a panoramic roof, a power driver's seat (10-way adjustable), synthetic leather and fabric seat material, a JBL premium audio system with subwoofer, tweeter, and IP speaker, and ambient lighting with 12 colour options.

The Ebella is available with two battery pack options. The E1 gets a 49 kWh battery paired with a 142bhp electric motor, offering a claimed range of 440 km. The E2 and E3 use a larger 61 kWh battery and a more powerful 172bhp motor, increasing the claimed range to 543 km.

All variants are front-wheel drive, support AC and DC fast charging, and come with ventilated disc brakes and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.

Toyota has currently announced only the price of the top-spec E3 variant. The E1 and E2 prices have not yet been revealed.
