Upcoming Kia EV9 colour options – Five exterior colours, two interior themes

We’re just ten days away from the launch of the all-electric Kia EV9 SUV. What’s so special about the EV9? Well, it’s not your everyday SUV. The EV9 features unique styling, tons of technology, a powerful drivetrain, and an all-wheel drive system. While this article is not about all of this stuff, we’ll be going through most of it briefly. Addressing the elephant in the room then, here are the Kia EV9 colour options.

Kia EV9 colour options

The new Kia EV9 will be offered in five colour options for the exterior — Snow White Pearl, Ocean Blue, Pebble Gray, Panthera Metal, and Aurora Black Pearl. There are two dual-tone options for the interior as well — white & black, and brown & black. For the wheels, there’s just one option, which looks rather interesting. It features a triangle imposed on its negative space in an inverted manner. The size of these wheels is 20-inches.

New Kia EV9 dimensions and design

The EV9 is a large SUV, measuring 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100mm. It features an edgy, boxy and futuristic styling on the outside, flanked by weirdly-shaped headlights and tail lights. The door handles are flushed into the panels, which is an increasing trend these days. 

2024 Kia EV9 features

The new Kia EV9 will come packed with features, as confirmed by Kia India. Some of these features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display for instrumentation, a 5-inch HVAC control panel, 18-way electrically-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, three-zone automatic climate control, a 14-speaker sound system,  and more. 

On the safety front, the upcoming Kia EV9 will get 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, 360-degree cameras, front, side & rear parking sensors, Vehicle Stability Management, disc brakes on all four wheels, a Level-2 ADAS suite with 21 functionalities, and what not.

Upcoming Kia EV9 battery, motors and range

The Kia EV9 will come equipped with a large 99.8 kWh battery that provides power to a pair of electric motors that generate a combined output of 384PS of power and 700Nm of torque. The Indian-spec EV9 features an all-wheel drive system. Triple digit speeds appear in just 5.3 seconds, despite the massive weight of this SUV. The ARAI-claimed range stands at 560 kilometres.

Kia EV9 launch date and expected price

Kia India is going to launch the Kia EV9 electric SUV on October 3, 2024, along with the new Kia Carnival MPV. Coming to India via the CBU route, the Kia EV9 price is expected to be northwards of Rs 1 crore. Stay tuned to CARS24 New Cars for latest updates!
